Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital agency. More recently, Webrepublic has launched a subsidiary in South Africa to work hand-in-hand with our HQ in Switzerland. Our team in Cape Town has grown, and we are now looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to expand our local presence into a large-scale operation.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist, you'll own complex, multi-market B2B campaigns from brief to optimisation. You'll transform objectives into media strategies, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery across all digital touchpoints, working with internal experts and external partners. This role requires strategic depth, analytical rigour, and a hands-on approach to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director Strategy & Acquisition, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of global B2B marketing campaigns across digital, social, trade media, and search channels,
  • Challenge and refine client briefs to sharpen objectives, target audiences, and channel mix,
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery,
  • Define and oversee tracking, tagging, and reporting frameworks to enable transparent performance measurement,
  • Monitor and optimise campaign performance based on data insights and stakeholder feedback,
  • Translate campaign results into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement,
  • Serve as the main point of contact for campaign performance, ensuring alignment and visibility across client and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • a Higher Certificate, National Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree from a recognised college or university in a relevant field like marketing, communication, business, or related field,
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on B2B campaign strategy and execution,
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-channel campaigns end-to-end,
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data interpretation, optimization, and reporting,
  • Deep understanding of digital media planning and buying, including social, search, and programmatic,
  • Solid knowledge of tracking, tagging, and analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Campaign Manager, etc.),
  • Comfortable consulting clients and creative partners on messaging, asset requirements, and format selection,
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in cross-functional, international environments,
  • fluent in English.
