Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital agency. More recently, Webrepublic has launched a subsidiary in South Africa to work hand-in-hand with our HQ in Switzerland. Our team in Cape Town has grown and we are now looking for a Consultant Performance Marketing to expand our local presence into a large-scale operation.

As a Consultant Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for independently and collaboratively managing online marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of English and German-speaking clients. Your primary focus will be on lead generation, with the ultimate goal of maximising your clients' online success.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Performance Marketing Team Lead, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • cultivate enduring client relationships through expertise, project management skills, and amiable demeanour,
  • deliver comprehensive performance marketing consulting, with a focus on SEA,
  • develop marketing concepts and analyze various channels and formats,
  • transform insights into impactful reports and performance presentations,
  • passion for performance marketing, guided by ROAS and CPA,
  • translate technical data into actionable recommendations,
  • collaborate closely with clients to formulate optimal solutions aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills
As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • Educational Background: a National Diploma, Higher Certificate, or Bachelor's Degree from a recognised college or university in a relevant field such as economics, marketing, communications,
  • Professional Experience:
    • 1–2 years of experience in search engine marketing (SEA),
    • proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant tools,
    • experience in project management and client servicing,
    • knowledge of display/video advertising, app marketing, tracking, and reporting is a significant advantage,
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • strong affinity for data-driven work, automated processes, logical thinking, and pragmatic solutions,
    • a knack for numbers and a quick grasp of complex topics,
    • passion for performance marketing and an interest in emerging digital trends and technological developments,
  • Language Proficiency: fluent in German with a good knowledge of English.
