Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital agency. More recently, Webrepublic has launched a subsidiary in South Africa to work hand-in-hand with our HQ in Switzerland. 

In 2022, Webrepublic launched a spin-off on sports and entertainment called #RAWR. For that business, we are looking for a full-time Senior Paid Campaign Manager.

As a Senior Paid Campaign Manager you will have the possibility to work with some of the biggest brands and sports rights holders in the industry and help them develop unique solutions. We are therefore looking for a self-starting individual with a passion for digital media strategies, sports marketing, and innovation in South Africa.

 

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Paid Strategy and Social Media Lead, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Develop, plan, and execute paid digital marketing campaigns, including social media, display, and search campaigns,
  • Overview, continuous cross-channel campaign monitoring, and optimisation towards KPIs,
  • Creation of campaign reports and dashboards,
  • Oversight of analytics, and tracking maintenance on running campaigns,
  • Creation of media plans based on a campaign framework and goals,
  • Develop creative briefings for assets and messaging aligned with campaign goals,
  • Ensuring timely activations’ deployment across all relevant channels,
  • Implementation of ad innovation and effective campaign measures.

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • a National Diploma, Higher Certificate or Bachelor Degree from a recognised college or university with a relevant degree (economics, marketing, communications, media or related sectors),
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing execution, strategy, and media planning,
  • Have a proven track record of 2 years minimum in project management and coordination of multiple stakeholders, 
  • Are tech-savvy and knowledgeable with tool usage such as META Business Manager, Google Ad Manager, Google Campaign Manager 360, Sprinklr, GA4, Adobe Analytics, etc,
  • Comprehend data-driven target audience definition and successful campaign execution,
  • Have advanced analytical skills, data-driven thinking, knowledge of website analytics tools, and familiarity with the latest online marketing trends,
  • Have excellent organisational skills and a self-starter personality,
  • Are passionate about the sports and entertainment industry, 
  • Proficiency in English (other languages are a plus).
