In 2022, Webrepublic launched a spin-off on sports and entertainment called #RAWR. For that business, we are looking for a full-time Marketing Manager for FIFA Men’s Youth tournaments (U-20 and U-17). You can drive unique solutions to dynamic challenges and work on the future tournaments, always looking to grow their popularity & improve their experience. We seek a self-starting individual passionate about digital strategies, sports marketing and innovation, based in Qatar, with experience working locally and a fluency in the Arabic language. 

This role is a temporary contract, starting ASAP and completing on December 31, 2025. Based on performance, there will be an opportunity to extend the contract and become a permanent team member of #RAWR by Webrepublic.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Coordination of all marketing activities for FIFA Men’s Youth competitions for the upcoming tournament cycle (2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile, the now-annual FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar). 
  • Deep integration into FIFA’s marketing operations, orchestrating campaigns with Local Organization Committees and FIFA teams
  • Guiding Local Organization Committees on the development of tournament promotional plans and approving all domestic marketing activities
  • Continued revision and monitoring of local activations, ensuring proper usage of IP, Brand, Commercial Partner integration and more
  • Conceptualizing and implementing 360-degree marketing strategies with a strong focus on the tournament's unique business challenges and brand values
  • Coordinating Comms initiatives with the Project team, Brand, Corp. Comms, Editorial, Media Relations, Partnerships and Social Media.
  • Working closely with partners on projects that require deep understanding, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to listen and learn
  • Building & sharing marketplace knowledge by gathering industry data and observing new trends as well as relevant brand and consumer habits
  • Analyze marketing measures and performance with a data-driven approach, compiling reports for senior management

As an ideal candidate, you...

  • Offer a proven track record in marketing and consulting, particularly in Qatar and/or EMEA
  • Have a minimum of four years of experience in digital marketing in sports (agency, rights holder or sponsor), ideally within the same locations mentioned above 
  • Bring strong project management skills and are familiar with tools like Monday.com, ClickUp or similar
  • Show a strong passion for Sports, Sports Tech, and Marketing and a proactive approach towards new developments
  • Bring a holistic view of the commercial inventory in sponsorship models and digital platforms, branded content, and sports innovation.
  • Have excellent organizational skills and a self-starter personality and are fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic. Additionally, you are open to travel and work remotely.
