Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital agency. More recently, Webrepublic has launched a subsidiary in South Africa to work hand-in-hand with our HQ in Switzerland. Our team in Cape Town has grown and we are now looking for a Senior Programmatic Advertising Manager to expand our local presence into a large-scale operation.

As a Senior Programmatic Advertising Manager, you'll oversee display, native, audio, and video campaigns for a diverse client portfolio and give it your all to make our clients even more successful in the programmatic world.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Team Manager Media Buying, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • providing frontline support for the rapidly growing Media Buying unit in Switzerland and supporting the entire team through operational expertise,
  • overseeing the setup, monitoring, and reporting of campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Teads Ad Manager, etc.) while aiding in campaign analysis and optimisation,
  • support the Digital Media Buying Consultants within a collaborative framework, gaining valuable insights into a diverse range of Swiss and international clients,
  • contribute to the establishment of our Digital Media Buying Service in a new environment and lead the mentoring of new team members when the opportunity arises.

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • graduated from a top university (BA / MA in marketing, communication, business, or related fields),
  • have at least 3-4 years of relevant work experience in programmatic media buying and the
  • handling of ad servers, with a passion for implementing and executing campaigns,
    experience in paid Social Media operations or the willingness to develop skills in this field is an advantageous asset,
  • well-versed in identifying campaign-level optimisation opportunities, conducting thorough analyses, and generating insightful reports,
  • an independent and meticulous working style, thrive on working with numbers and data, and exhibit a strong attention to detail,
  • fluent in English.
